FriendFeed Supports MP3 Feeds

joelaz:

FriendFeed just launched an awesome feature that I was hoping we might get for Tumblr.  You can import feeds that include MP3 files and the feed is automatically converted into an audio post that your followers can listen to using a simple flash audio player.  I added my feed from LastButNot.com, which is a site that automatically posts MP3’s based on songs that I ‘favorite’ through Last.fm.  I post a few songs to that site each week.  Now, without requiring me to upload a file or do anything other than click the ‘heart’ button from iTunes, my favorite music is shared with my FriendFeed followers.  I’d like the same option for video feed enclosures too.  Granted, these are niche features, but FriendFeed continues to impress me with the pace of their development.  The service is way too noisy to be much use for me today, but I think they’ll solve those problems in time.
