Unlikely, […]. Because the underlying, misguided assumption is often that consumers will eventually jump into this market and revive the recording industry, as long as the conditions are right. Tweak the formula a bit, and the magic begins.
But nothing is further from the truth, simply because consumers make their acquisition decisions based on a far broader set of variables. And DRM is only one piece of the puzzle.
