Reply Shannon Griffin March 9, 2020 Strange request. But hear me out. 🙈 Can you do a Bob Ross recreation video where you try to follow a Bob Ross video. Let me know. (Finger guns) Reply Cayley Draper March 9, 2020 You should use epoxy for this sort of art , there are all kinds of videos on yt and instagram about it xoxo Reply p newton March 9, 2020 I like them both. The cracks make it look unique ❤ Reply Amy Host March 9, 2020 I bought the same 48X48 and did a painting for my dining room. I got it 70% off! I think I paid $35. Anyway, if you can have someone build you a floating frame for it it makes it look so much more expensive! Reply LashawnT 1018 March 9, 2020 It’s still art even tho it has cracks . I’d still use them 🤷🏽♀️ Reply MaddVibez March 9, 2020 That’s why I like you so much, you’re a Virgo 🥰 Reply Tareasha Jackson March 9, 2020 I just did this with my nieces today. I've been seeing these videos as well. Michael's had the canvases for 60% off yesterday Reply Tia Johns March 9, 2020 Use Flood instead of water…right? And was the canvas primed? Kept it up love the different content ✌️🥰 Reply Iyahna_ Frost2 March 9, 2020 18:04 I got scared because I realized there was to ravens painting and I jumped Reply Renata Jordan March 9, 2020 That's gorgeous……… Reply Sydney Rai March 9, 2020 I like the idea of doing this Reply Yolanda Reyes March 9, 2020 I think they look great! Reply Pretti Rockstar March 9, 2020 That is so dope. I want to do it 😍🥰 Reply Makayla Simmons March 9, 2020 I’ve literally been meaning to do this exact thing at my house so thank you for the guidance girl 😂 Reply Paula Lewis March 9, 2020 Raven I just admire your confidence to try anything!! I seriously love Both paintings! There’s no wrong Abstract art ! HOWEVER, I think you should also do a professional photo shoot and include beautiful portraits of you and Ziya on your walls in your beautiful home!! Does anyone agrees??!!! Reply Nique Nashae March 9, 2020 The big one is dope raven! It almost looks like Africa! Or even an elephant! Reply Rachel Gordon March 9, 2020 I like the cracks too Reply Makeda Benjamin March 9, 2020 Great job Raven. I like both, but I'm sorry the bigger one cracked so much. You can definitely use the smaller one. Did you like any of the pictures you received in the mail? The clouds could go for Ziya's playroom and I thought the trio gold could go somewhere maybe foyer? Reply Licia Monique March 9, 2020 ok Raven! the editing was bomb and the painting came out nice for your first time. Reply GoodandDelicious March 9, 2020 I actually would get it framed with a very slim, black frame just to “finish” it. Reply Elangeni Smalls March 9, 2020 I’ve been wanting to try this! You did a great job ! Reply Ms Jackson March 9, 2020 Great idea…once you get the mixture right its gonna be great ..maybe u could paint over it to start over with clean white canvas…then try some leftover house paints watered down to get the colors of your decor…but im excited to try this for myself… Reply Vickie Sthilaire March 9, 2020 On top it looks like an elephant tho. It's beautiful Reply Witch Walking March 9, 2020 Redo? Reply CurlsandKids March 9, 2020 Loved the artwork. I want to try now that was so cool to watch. Can't wait to see part 2 Reply GigglesAttack91 March 9, 2020 Either way it still came out great 👌🏾💕 Reply Taylor Pinkney March 9, 2020 I would recommend putting metals framing around the edges for a more modern, expensive look!! Reply Gloria Gonzalez March 9, 2020 Great work i like the design and colors it's art 😉👍 Reply Nadiya Cobbins March 9, 2020 This is my type of art. No rhyme or reason. I can’t get mad at myself for not liking it because it’s suppose to be random. So basically if it’s ugly it’s the paints fault. 😂😂😂 Reply Aiyana J. March 9, 2020 Instead of all artwork you should get a large mirror, a large wall clock or a large wall sculpture Reply Gracie Strather March 9, 2020 Spray glaze on it also and put a black frame around it so you want see the running paint. Its beautiful! Reply Julia Burns March 9, 2020 Raven… I think you should try it again but look at this easier technique for a big canvas https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CFEy2pTVxc Reply Amarilis Love March 9, 2020 I was planning on doing this while watching this video but then you showed the cracks and from fellow Virgo ♍️ I get how you feel when my diy projects doesn’t work out you just costly starring at it 😂😂 Reply Nadirah. March 9, 2020 Sis there is perfection in imperfection! Both of the canvases came out cool! Reply Akeira Janee' March 9, 2020 What mic are you using ??! Reply Julia Burns March 9, 2020 Sorry, I found one more for you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFnIIO-ug1g. if you use your circle method, make it meaningful like a number of circles to represent the number in your family or where you want to place them. It makes your painting more special. Reply Slamber Alert March 9, 2020 the editing on this video was A1. when there was 2 Ravens I was shook Reply Mone’t Glascoe March 9, 2020 Why do you self doubt yourself so much Raven lol it’s art it’s fun Reply Chelsie Coleman March 9, 2020 I just gotta try it now😩😂 Reply Sarah Diana Lynn Taylor March 9, 2020 I like the design Reply Jstbnme_ Tay March 9, 2020 Hey Raven! Treshaja has many videos on this and hers turns out nice each time. Hope that helps. Reply Kailyn B. March 9, 2020 I’m loving the audio. I love the fact that I can hear you as if you’re doing a voiceover.❤️ Reply Carlos Batista March 9, 2020 You should try string art Reply Chasity Jenkins March 9, 2020 instead of gold paint buy the gold foil or broken gold glass pieces to glue on it Reply Skye Burrage March 9, 2020 I really liked the smaller one Raven!💓 I think you should do like a gallery wall with a bunch of little ones , all the love Raven 🥰💛💛💛 Reply Yani.Imani March 9, 2020 They both came out so nice 😍😍😍😍 I love how creative you are!! Reply Char Renee TV March 9, 2020 Spray paint the edges white once they dry! Reply hershebeauty March 9, 2020 I think it came out cute but u should have scraped up the paint drippings to manipulate the sides. Definitely going to try this too! Reply sandra gunnarsdottir March 9, 2020 Have you tried doing the pour paint method with the acrylic paints mixed with epoxy? I think it’s easier to “flow” and it makes it glossy and avoids cracking. Reply Drea Epps March 9, 2020 In a nice way the big canvas is ugly and I’m really feeling the small one, I do think the more paint the better it will come out Reply Meek Meek March 9, 2020 You should look up Treshaja on YouTube or Instagram… She knows all about how to do those type of paintings & what kinda paints to get. Hope this helps! Reply Riyadh White March 9, 2020 What about using four little canvases to create one big piece? Reply Tracy Hamm March 9, 2020 Use a pouring medium Reply Stormy Allure March 9, 2020 this is an expensive project i would just buy the artwork to get exactly what you want looks fun tho Reply Edward Smart March 9, 2020 The cracks add 'Character'! 🙂 Reply DeeRose G March 9, 2020 Thanks for doing this !! Reply chantal mcfarlane March 9, 2020 Wats ur plan for ziyas birthday party this year Reply Moniquea Renee March 9, 2020 Omg I'm doing the same thing I'm in love with acrylic pours right now Reply Julia Burns March 9, 2020 A really easy pouring method – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsYW430IwjM Reply K. MAY March 9, 2020 A base coat of white could’ve possibly helped minimize some of the paint used to cover the canvas… the paint mixture was probably too thick as you said also…Great attempt though!! Reply Mars Aerglo March 9, 2020 i’m glad u showed ur failures and stuff cuz i’m making the same kinda abstract art for my apartment and i woulda never known about how much paint these satisfying research videos ACTUALLY use oh and also cracks can happen more often with water instead of an actual mixing medium!! Reply Daphne Sinicropi March 9, 2020 Not an epic fail. Yesterday I sketched my first portrait and it came out looking like the subject had lost her tweezers and just had a botched nose job. Reply Jonae Josephs March 9, 2020 Who else was confused when they saw 2 ravens 😂😂😂 Reply Rashido March 9, 2020 the small canvas looks so good even with the cracks maybe in a bathroom or something where it won’t be looked at that close but still appreciated! I’d most deff hang that in my house Reply rebecca stratton March 9, 2020 The cracks look cool! Reply Delirious Price March 9, 2020 Try funnel paint pouring look it up on YouTube it might help out a lot Reply Hello Everybody March 9, 2020 If your not happy with it DONT HANG IT UP! You will be disappointed every time you see it. So before you hang it make sure tyoy are happy with it❤ Reply kolibri March 9, 2020 Watery is good with this type of art. Try with resin it'll be super shiny and beautiful with the theme you have in your home. Reply Layah Love March 9, 2020 You should watch Juliannadb channel she is a boss at those stuff! I really hope you watch her channel❤ Reply Miss Kamiylah March 9, 2020 this looks so satisfying & fun Reply Tonya Robertson March 9, 2020 Raven l love them both. Reply Hipster Princessxo March 9, 2020 I made one of these you have to paint the canvas and then pour give it a try :). Reply Siyambonga Dimema March 9, 2020 With the cracks Raven you need to seal the paint as well with a varnish so that it won't crack anymore. Reply Siyambonga Dimema March 9, 2020 Watch Callen Schaub on IG, he has great content with paint pouring but he uses a different technique Reply J Xoxo March 9, 2020 I like both. The edges look artistic. I think it shouldn’t be perfect Reply Petra Vardai March 9, 2020 ❤❤❤ Reply K. How March 9, 2020 I love them and i cant wait to do my own soon!!!! I am a Virgo as well so i know where you’re coming from! Side note: is it just me or does the big canvas paint kind of shaped like Africa…. it was the first thing that came to mind at 20:02? Just me.okay! 😂😂🖤 Reply anita patience March 9, 2020 I love it! Reply Carol Love March 9, 2020 Note to self. Things never work out the same as it does on camera. ie makeup tutorials. 😂😂 Reply Andrea Devonshire March 9, 2020 That’s pretty cool. I think the smaller one is a keeper. Reply Christina Henderson March 9, 2020 When I’ve done this in the past, I noticed using glossy acrylic paints don’t crack. Something about those mattes that mess everything up. Also using a clear silicone for the paints will give you that spread out, open cell vibe. Good luck Ray Reply Nicole B March 9, 2020 i love art I want to try this myself Reply Linda Revis March 9, 2020 It look nice to me. Reply sarah lavello March 9, 2020 This was awesome! You should try resin art it’s similar to this but has a glossy super cool finish and makes it look like real marble! Reply Nay Kazoo March 9, 2020 I like it Reply Zolamoon March 9, 2020 Nice good..add silicone Oil in the paint next time. Adding a couple drops of pure silicone oil to your paint mixtures will help create "cells" throughout your pour painting Reply Life Of Melissa March 9, 2020 Love this!! Reply The Glamtastic Life Of Beauty March 9, 2020 It’s perfect. The dripping parts adds to the character of the painting . I even like the cracks. It’s beautiful art Reply SweetnSour516 March 9, 2020 Through my experience, craft smart paint cracks even when painting with a brush as it has a chalky finish. It kinda clots too when mixed with mixing mediums. Artist loft is a whole lot better, mixes and dilutes with anything I’ve tried (glitter, mixing mediums, beads, etc.) Reply Lena Walczyna March 9, 2020 ❤️ ❤️ Reply spelchi55 March 9, 2020 For the big canvas, maybe you should get more paint and just add it on the areas you want to “improve” move it around and see what happens. Maybe the cracks disappear too if they’re covered with another coat of paint. I love the small one tho ! Good luck ❤️ Reply Jus V March 9, 2020 Get a nice frame for it! I think it came out super cute. Reply Petra Boroje March 9, 2020 Raven can you please do fridge organization😭😭❤❤ Btw I feel like a artis too😘 Reply J Shei March 9, 2020 Having the Uggs on while painting stressed me out Reply sarah santiago March 9, 2020 There is this “flow” stuff you can get from the craft store as well i forgot what it’s called but it works way better then when you use water i suggest useing that me and my friend flow paint a lot and that what we use ❤️❤️😘 good luck my love Reply fatima harake March 9, 2020 Watch wengie's video it might help Reply Cloe Reboton March 9, 2020 damn love the edit😆,love you raven! Reply Brittany Shannel March 9, 2020 Love this! I love trying new things as well. This looks fun. You can’t go wrong because it’s art and your own creation. Reply carmella brown March 9, 2020 I liked the little canvas a lot. Reply Add a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
