Haha Reply Songbird 214 April 22, 2019 Her excitement with how cool and pretty the first pour was, was so cute to watch because I've done this before and understand EXACTLY how she feels. It really does feel so cool and amazing to just be able to pour paint on something and have it turn out so pretty and awesome. You can also use small(or big, it depends on preference) tiles. They work just as well. Reply UntitledSpy May 9, 2019 Avoid the fame thing, buy plenty of pouring medium. Got it! 😀 These were great! Definitely would love to try it. Especially with a touch of silver and gold or even bronze and other metallic colours to go with regular colours. Just to add that little something extra. Thanks for sharing this with us, including the tips and tricks! Reply mythdusterds May 9, 2019 Had no idea this kind of art was a thing. This would be perfect for kids to make. Reply Noor Fatima May 9, 2019 Why is this my fav vid Reply Kenshin Himura May 10, 2019 My number one annoyance when people do this is not having a tub to catch the paint. However. You did a good job. And those look fantastic. Reply noanneivunicorns May 12, 2019 are you ok with the messy table…but although its really nice Reply Adam Goss May 17, 2019 Hope you had a mat downs Reply Becki Percy May 18, 2019 Chloe, you are so like me… Doing something as messy as this in a white shirt hahaha Reply Anything Coffee May 20, 2019 This technique would make a great base to paint on, either while wet (and either using another colour or just using like a toothpick to create designs in the wet paint) or when dry. I think it would work better with a tub to pour the run off into. It'd be definitely interesting to play around with different consistencies and different mediums in the paint. And maybe using a lot less paint so that when you turn it over it only covers that initial circle in the middle of the canvas (rather than being too thick & needing spreading out)…and that's the picture (possibly with specifically painted embellishments in/around/coming from it)… so so many possibilities. But, it is a very messy method though & I currently don't have the space to do it 😕. Reply Alexsis Marie May 21, 2019 arre you still going to do challenges? Reply kblexie May 28, 2019 For being a you tuber I'm surprised you didn't research more acrylic pouring YouTubers. Anne Marie Ridderhof, mixed media girl and Paul Startart to name a few that have tutorials and amazing pouring videos. Sorry but the skill videos you watched on pouring was not a good way to learn. I don't mean to pick apart this video but that was so bad. Lol. Please watch a few others cause I think you'll be shocked and love the results you can achieve when done right. Cheers Reply Jean Fischer May 28, 2019 Oh, girl! What a disaster. Sorry but you won't win any crafty acrylic awards. Paint too watery, which will cause cracking and ruin the whole thing. Do us all a favor and look at more tutorials cuz honey … it sux!!! Reply Sofies Hamster May 28, 2019 I use : paint, water and Glue and it works really Well, if you cant or dont have the money to buy medium😊 Reply moni kaka May 29, 2019 Not messy enogh Reply Moonlixghtii May 30, 2019 3:34 I love that face Lmao Reply HRD Heather 77 May 31, 2019 Thanks for the upload. I hear it really makes the colors pop and it protects the painting. Reply Jassacake June 23, 2019 0:33 she said 👀 Reply 14104 x1 June 25, 2019 She just like lets all the paint run off the canvas lol Reply Ralph Christianson July 2, 2019 Be warned this is very addictive, if it had been around in the 60s, no one would have needed drugs. The colours can be fabulous and you have little control overthe pattern but it is fun, many artists quit painting to just pour paint. Way too much fun, but it is legal so far. Reply Caroline Cook July 4, 2019 I love your eyeshadow Reply Shelley Jacobs July 4, 2019 Now drop a canvas in the run off and see what happens Reply Ariana Eschrich July 5, 2019 “So I’m going to be *PLAYING WITH FIRE TODAY*” if you’re a blink you get the reference 😉 (BLACKPINK) Reply Noreen Zeeshan July 5, 2019 HMMM…….. Reply TehSlan July 6, 2019 Ahaha between this and your video with the pastels where you cursed out their texture, I'm reminded of why I 1) put a glove dispenser under my desk, 2) replaced the doorknob to my art room with a door handle Reply dxsiredmood July 9, 2019 I wonder how many times Chloe has to clean her desk… Reply Ash Ley July 10, 2019 Girl lol you need 40 grams color to 10 grams pouring medium and only two dips silicone. Side note you can use mini paper cups! They’re recyclable and you’re not wasting as much plastic and killing the environment. Save the turtles 😂! Otherwise good on you for trying something new. Ps cool trick is to try to layer the colors while tilting the cup to a 45 degree angle. It will provide your work of art with a whole new life. Ps you can reuse the paint that runs off and you get the corners by wiping them with your fingers. You got this. Good on you for trying! Also there wasn’t Cells on your painting but if you use heat it activates the properties in the paint to burst the air bubbles and make them. Reply NikkiTwoShoes July 11, 2019 11:57 How did she know? 😰 We’ve been compromised. 🤐 Reply Hedaya Khalifa July 12, 2019 9:40 to 9:45 it looks 3d Reply Amelia Spring July 12, 2019 must be beginers luck because the first on look sthe best Reply Frost Bite July 14, 2019 I have done 6 paint pours so far and I found the runnier( however it is spelled) is better for cover the whole canvas without using all of your paint. And if it doesn’t cover the whole canvas you can do another cup full over top of the first. Reply Laura Copas. July 16, 2019 Now i wanna do this Reply Black Violet July 17, 2019 Close: why do they child proof everything so I can’t get in to them?? Me: your a child? I've watched your skillshare classes before, which are awesome by the way, and so are you C: Reply muskndusk July 22, 2019 I'm glad I'm not the only person who gets annoyed by child proof containers! Reply James Heath August 3, 2019 Try using Floetrol by Flood(it's a paint conditioner,)and cost less then a pouring medium. When adding the Floetrol, you can use 1part paint to two parts Floetrol. The mixture should be a syrup like consistency (Hershey syrup,) if the paint is to thin, like water add more Floetrol. You can go to an auto part store,to get silicone spray, works just as good for less,(heavy duty silicone by CRC.) You only need a drop per each amount of paint you use, needs to be stired(1/2 stirs,) then let sit a bit. The paint should be thin and able to run in a single stream off the stirring stick, but not to thin. Yours was to thin. For your first time that was pretty good. I think you should do more pours. You could use the bottom of a soda bottle, and pour paint over that to make flower petals. Reply Heather Hughes August 4, 2019 I got a butane torch to use for acrylic pouring, but I've had the same issue with finding a canister that fits! ): Reply Mark Bolton August 13, 2019 You are boring. Reply Artskine September 5, 2019 It is so gorgeous! I have a few metallic acrylic paints and I'll be doing my first pouring tomorrow. I'm so excited and your video was the one that truly made me want to do it~ Love it! Reply KarmaK1984 September 10, 2019 I love watching videos of pours! So relaxing 😊 And don’t you love when your first attempt at something is a success?! Such a good feeling! Reply BloopyAnimates September 14, 2019 OMG I CLICKDED ON THIS VIDEO AND I SEE YOU WEARING THE SAme SHIRT IM WEARING RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!! Reply Tina M September 22, 2019 That was quite funny. They look good but your paint was too thin. Also, the torch works with the silicone to make more cells/lacing but more importantly it pops air bubbles.
